Don't be offensive

A nuance: People are going to be offended. They are going to perceive an insult, a criticism, a sleight or a dig.

You cannot control that, and you cannot take a hand in that. Do not save them from how they will feel.

What you can do, is to not be offensive.

If you see someone "worthy" of an attack because they were wrong, or bad, or hurtful - you are on the offence. And being offensive.

All people are doing the best they can. Start there, stay there.
