Not unlearning how to crawl

We need to learn how to crawl before we can run. Of course. The neural pathways, the muscle, and the coordination require it.

Once we can crawl we continue knowing how to. We do not spend time unlearning it. Or to quell that skill.

We just choose not to, since we found more effective ways of moving.

The same then with behaviours we want to "replace", or "change". Those behaviours and ways of being existed for a reason. No need to rip it all out. Just choose not to and choose new ways instead.

Sometimes we may still crawl, for fun or nostalgia.
