Only good on paper

Despite my hopes and beliefs, I still author reams about who I am supposed to be. Actively maintaining a script that holds this storied me together.

Those writings include what I am supposed to be good at — on paper.

When my real-world ability is much less what I put down on that mental paper, I am always surprised by the wave of frustration.
