Perception and reality

Our perception of reality, cannot keep up with reality.

And our perception of reality is not even in sync: Our eyes see faster than we hear.

A change, in reality, wanders all over the place.

Incrementally, slowly, reality changes. What used to be true becomes less so over time.

A change in perception is fast. A whiplash realisation that true, is now false.

And in this way, perception sometimes overtakes reality: It is not false, it is just less true.
