Red square

For reasons and for an extended while, home was a red canvas square clipped together to form a tray. A tray in which keys, wallet, and my cellphone went.

Where that tray stood for the evening, was home.

I prided myself on the flexibility I had to be so comfortably home in any place, at any time.

Recently that square got damaged. And it feels as if home is damaged.
In this, I find myself quite inflexible.
