The concept of a Smörgåsbord was introduced to the rest of the world in 1939.

The world experienced great scarcity in those years, and the abundance and generosity of the Smörgåsbord must have been alluring.

Glutting on abundance, is not abudance.
Freely choosing just the parts you want — including nothing — is true abundance.
