The destination matters

There is the story of the father and son that went to the most remote place on earth.

An island that by definition, is in the middle of nowhere. It took some doing.

Once there, they climbed the tallest mountain. Reaching the summit they found: A mountain like any other. And a bunch of common crows.

It is an experience that tests the "it is not the destination" cliche.
I think of this when I embark on a new "it is all about the journey" self-lie.
