It deleted everything you said up to that moment. And strengthened, highlighted, created everything after that but.
"I hear what you are saying, but, this is how I see it."
Watch for that but.
What did your but want? What does your but need? Why did you put your but in there?
Get your but out of there. Replace it with and. Try it. Feel what feels different.
"I hear what you are saying, and, this is how I see it."
Now of course, you could use this knowledge to just change your language without changing your behaviour.
